What is a web page?

- My response to "The Care and Feeding of Web Pages", which got me into this drivel crowd.

It was once said (on "The Care and Feeding of Web Pages"):

"No one has determined if web pages are animal or vegetable yet"

I would suggest a fungus - sometimes exotic and beautiful, even edible, but more often just ugly.

Web pages, however, move about - they slowly waddle along the wires to your computer.

What about a sponge? (the animal in the ocean, not the one you wash your car with.) A sponge can be pushed through a sieve and actually reassemble itself on the other side. Sounds like a web page to me!

"You could wash your car with one. Probably wouldn't be good for the paint though."

Or the sponge.
